Update regarding treasury and circulating supply:
Firstly, we would like to assure the community that Catheon Gaming did not store any assets on FTX or own any FTT and have not been directly impacted by its collapse. Our hearts go out to anyone who has been affected by recent events.
Separately, some of you have noted that the reported circulating supply of $CATHEON has been inconsistently reported on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. We would like to clarify that the variances are due to differences in the measurement methodology rather than material changes in the location or vesting status of the tokens.
The primary distinction relates to unlocked tokens and tokens that are still held in the vesting wallets (i.e. available for claiming or distribution).
The initially reported balance (~1.6bn tokens in circulation) included tokens relating to allocations such as ecosystem and marketing that have technically vested but have not been distributed or put into public circulation.
If you exclude those tokens and also vested but unclaimed pre-sale tokens, the circulating supply is around ~0.6bn.
The circulating supply API that we publish (includes vested unclaimed pre-sale tokens but excludes the vested undistributed project tokens (such as ecosystem rewards tokens). Currently this equates to around 1.0bn tokens.
